There are harder days than most, but the reunion is so joyful that those pains are swallowed up and never looked back on.
I love that about this life. Pain does not last forever and healing can always be found if you're willing to work for it - internally and externally.
Well, it's been forever; in a nutshell the size of my right foot (large-but-not-as-large-as-the-left kind of thing), here's what's been going on.
This girl!
We had a great time at home with with our ever-expanding family. Love you all :)
A quick trip home and we're back to the daily grind.
The Zimmerman's
These beautiful people let us stay with them for a whole week because our apartment had flooded while we were away and TVA isn't the most reliable place to live when there are problems with your apartment. We are back in our newly carpeted apartment and will be babysitting that handsome babe for the next few Fridays.Glen and I are taking a Hawaiian language class together this term and we go on field trips every Thursday. We went to a wee island off the coast of La'ie and had some hair-flipping fun trying to talk in Hawaiian to each other. We collected sea salt from the far side of the island and learned a bunch of beach words. It's a beautiful little bird sanctuary with a gorgeous little bay.
Glen's best round at Keiki's the other day because he wanted to have cool hair photos too :)
This is from Sunday afternoon; we went to the temple grounds to watch the sunset and this one flower was on this one stem. They chop plants to the bone here every other day because things grow so fast, which I usually look at with disdain, but I liked this chop job.
A hui hou.
